Calming colours to paint your bedroom

Calming colours to paint your bedroom

Colour therapy, or the effect that colour has on our brains, is now widely accepted. If racing red can get you fired up, then why not use a cool grey to calm you down after a long hard day?

Two of South Africa’s well-known paint giants have released various hues of naturals as well as a range of subtle grey, green, blue and purple that promise to add tranquility to any room.

Check out sage green, silver cloud and moss blue. These are a few of the Dulux shades that translate beautifully in the bedroom.
Some of the Plascon colours that work well as separates or as a colour scheme include heavenly dew, mellow blue and ivory snow.
